K&E Plastics Enters World of Fuel Cells
East Arlington,
VA – October 31, 2003 – K&E Plastics, Inc is
pleased to announce that it has begun to produce
custom test parts for a major hydrogen fuel cell
developer working with several automobile
makers.
The parts produced include complex,
tight-tolerance testing manifolds which are
machined from heavy – 2 inch thick or more –
materials including G-10 glass-epoxy laminate,
glass-filled polycarbonate and glass-filled
polyetherimide.
In addition, K&E produces fuel-cell cradles and
a variety of other machined plastic parts for
this customer.
K&E Plastics has been fabricating custom plastic
parts since 1966. The company began operations
in New Jersey and is now located in the
foothills of Vermont’s Green Mountains.
K&E produces parts for a wide variety of
industries including transformer, aerospace,
communication and elevator manufacturers.
Equipped with the latest in CNC machining
centers, the company is able to handle runs from
prototype to full-scale production. K&E has
managed its growth so that company managers are
able to pay personal attention to each of its
customers.
