New 32-Channel HART Multiplexer Simplifies Operation,
ncreases Reliability, Reduces Power Consumption

 

TWINSBURG, OH – Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the MUX2700G HART Multiplexer. The MUX2700G provides 32 single channels for connection to “smart” transmitters or control devices, while supporting HART standard digital communication. They are fully compatible at the interface level with all previous MUX2700 versions, and function at RS-485 communication speed, with standard operation at up to 38.4 Kb/sec.

Additional features include:

• Fully redesigned processor board with single-chip microprocessor

These multiplexers offer channel-to-channel isolation and eliminate complicated master/slave configurations. They serve as a gateway between the workstation and field instrumentation by interrogating each field device under workstation supervision, and storing the information in its internal database for quick, easy access.
